Good evening, my Soulful friends!

I hope that you are safe and well. And, that you are going outside onto your balcony, backyards and/or gardens, as much as possible (6 ft. apart). Studies show that connecting to nature can trigger our parasympathetic nervous system, helping us feel grounded and more relaxed. We all need more peace in our lives, especially now.

That is why I have been posting one minute meditations, now called #minutations, which feature one minute videos taken in nature. I hope you are seeing them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin.

Additionally, I am so excited to share two new developments. Recently, I was the guest on a GardenDC podcast, where I spoke with Kathy Jentz, editor of The Washington Gardener Magazine about garden pests. Click the image to be taken to my podcast episode. This was my first, but I had so much fun that I hope it will not be my last.

Next, I was so honored this winter, when ‘The’ Dr. Allan Armitage asked me to write a section on his Armitage’s Great Garden Plants App about Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for home gardeners. He calls this app ‘your back pocket horticulturalist.’ It has great features and can be used right in the garden center, when you are making important plant decisions.  Click the image to learn more.
